Walking into a room full of women – at the Fierce and Feminine Event in a nice villa setting…this is the magic of embodiment for me. Right there.
There is a feeling of soft, accepting, authentic presence, observing without judgment.
Being loving, self appreciating & paying it forward.
One cannot but feel nurtured, loved, appreciated, for exactly who I am.
The authenticity of our own voice, expression, of who we really are is so powerful. It is liberating. Rippling out to others so that they also want to be seen and heard, and genuinely embodied, living from their sparkling truth.
Jennifer, the founder of Wildflower fashion and Lotta, the founder of Archery jewelry – I admire these women.
One in her early 30ties the other in early 50ties. Both larger than life.
Why, you say, what makes them stand out?
Because they dare to be exactly who they are, they dare to stand in their truth, shining it brightly. No self doubts, just being raw and radically authentic about who they are.
I am that I am presence – that’s embodiment of those powerful words.
One is wearing her jumpsuit, everywhere she goes.
The other is wearing her smile, her funky and warm jokes.
Humbleness and gentleness are served here.
How did they become so frikin’ authentic?
They found their values and created their vision.
They stage it out.
And keep pushing forward.
I want to use this opportunity to rejoice that we get to live at times when women can live at own terms…and knowing it’s perfectly OK.
It is safe to be who we really are, it is safe to go for that scary, larger than life vision that excites us.
Life wants us to meet it exactly where we are.
The world will be OK if we decide not to have children, to move to Bali island, or to do exactly what we want. Like pursue another career, go back to school or buy an apartment in Tuscany and start organizing retreats after reaching age of 60.
Whatever it is that we feel is calling us.
However impossible it may seem, go do it when you are feeling the pull.
Many times women give up their dreams to help their husbands and partners build theirs, or take care of the kids…
They are afraid they don’t deserve to pursue their dreams, not sure if they can really have that sweet vision come to reality. I know, I have certainly doubted at times if living my passion was possible.
My mother was a great role model in that sense – she dared to have a family and pursue her dream to be a medical doctor specializing in clinical pharmacology. She did it. Wasn’t easy…She was away in other city to do the specialization Mon to Fri for 4 years – just home on weekends… I was missing her a lot as a girl….
But, she taught me and my sister to go follow that dream even though there will be hard times…there will be obstacles, emotional drains, distance…
So here I am, I took a chance on me. I am living my dream. As an entrepreneur with two businesses and allowing myself to be pulled in the direction of my dream and as high performance coach and astrologer. And having the time of my life.
Wasn’t easy to get to that level of comfort. Watching others succeed, that was my big issue as a high performer. Also, not giving it all I got, but dabbling in it with reserves on the side.
Life doesn’t respect dabblers, only when you give it all you’ve got and trust your passion unconditionally despite the naysayers, and despite yourself most of all, you will make those first giant steps forward.
So I tell you with my own example, and showcasing these ladies’ dreams made true, of course it is possible.
It’s not only possible, it is our duty to believe in ourselves and make our dreams a reality. What we focus expands.
What are you focusing on? Did you set the goals worthy of you, or are you dabbling here and there trying to make a buck?
It’s funny how life brings us what we need in the right time. Almost as if there is a script, not happening randomly.
We get to experience growth exactly at the right time, because before we are not ready to conceive the bigger vision.
Are you ready to take that big bold step towards your dreams?
Do it because it is a place where one sparkles and finds good friends who share the same dream…
It’s worth EVERYTHING and it brings you to the highway of your dreams. Not a side road.
Highway, where you can drive openly, boldly, free of obstacles, with wind in your tail. Because the universe gives back to authentic, loving dreamers and doers.
Wonderfully written and inspirational, thank you!
